Personal, in-depth guidance for your college bound student.

College is a very costly investment and should not be left to chance.  Smith -
Warren & Associates provides individualized professional guidance to families
making important educational decisions.  Our main focus is to assist students in
the selection of appropriate High School courses, help guide them through the
college identification, selection and application process, and to provide strategic
advice to parents and students on matters of admissions and financial aid.

Through this process, students discover which college is the best match for
them, and families experience reduced stress and anxiety during this important
decision making period.

Specifically, we will review your student's credentials and educational goals and
guide them as they prepare for the ACT and other entrance examinations.  We
will review their activities and help him or her develop an academic resume
highlighting their achievements and is an indispensable tool when it comes to
applying for admissions and scholarships.

Together we will develop an individualized list of colleges and prepare the
student for interviews and campus visits.  In addition, we will assist in the
preparation of admissions applications, proofread essays, and help simplify the
complex rules and regulations that govern the financial aid process.

We know the college funding process inside and out and will be filing the
necessary forms on time and correctly so you don’t have to worry about learning
the financial aid rules and regulations.

We will also sit down with you and compare financial offers from your student's
schools.  We'll help you identify critical items such as total out of pocket costs,
student debt load, and which offer really gives your student the most education
for the money.  You’ll know with confidence that you and your student have a
partner throughout this complicated and stressful time.
